In this webquest you will be suggesting ways to reduce risk in areas prone to certain natural disasters. Rather than focusing on the science behind why the disaster occurs, the focus will be on the risk to people, the environment, economies and other related elements in that particular place. This will be a detailed case study of a specific catastrophic event where the analysis of risk can be used to help avoid similar catastrophes in the future.
